school holidays, study and Barbie
Halfway through school holidays and making my way through assignments...Learned something interesting recently! Do you know that there is 1 chance in 100,000 to actually have a body like Barbie's? She is near-impossible anatomically and mathematically way out of proportion. I plan to write a maths lesson around Barbie one day and to use this as an illustration of the doll being a totally unrealistic role model for girls. It will also fit in well with the Butterfly Foundation, Body Think program I hope to present to classes that promotes healthy and positive body image and self-esteem for adolescents and pre-adolescents.
